The Certifications of Mobile App Development

You might have heard some stories about a young boy who was able to craft some amazing apps. The applications that the kid made were so popular that they are placed inside the Google Play Store and the Apple Store- two of the biggest app stores out there.

That being said, there is a notion that is prevailing in the different app development circles out there. The question is: do you really need a mobile app development certification in this day and age?

Well, simply put, yes. But, the real answer to that may not be cut and dry as you think. You see, there are plenty of jobs out there that do not certification. There are even some employers that hire people based on talent rather than skill.

Usually, though, and especially when it comes to mobile app development, big companies usually hire mobile app developers that have the right education and certifications for mobile app development.

In most cases, a mobile app developer should at least have a computer science degree (or other related disciplines) and they must know a programming language or two (specifically, the ones that are usually used in creating applications).

Why You Still Need a Certification?

Do You Really Need Mobile App Development Certifications in 2019?Sure, any person can be very talented when it comes to creating mobile apps, but they are just a dime a dozen. For most people, you need to have the right certifications because this is proof that you’ve indeed taken classes regarding mobile app development.

There are even some employers who will not look at resumes that do not contain any certifications whatsoever.

If You Want to Be an Android Developer, Be an Associate!

Android applications have become in-demand these days. In fact, Android apps have taken over the lion’s share of the market, so it is no wonder that a lot of developers go to the green team.

That being said, Google (the one who created the operating system) is giving developers a training course. Once that is done, you will be given a certification that signifies that you’ve completed the course with flying colors.

If you become an Android Developer through Google’s own training program, you will be taught some important lessons regarding cloud-based architecture and services, building and debugging applications, application design, designing solutions for storage, and many more.

Google is even kind enough to give suitable training programs for people who are complete novices, but are willing to learn and become an app developer themselves.

Do You Really Need Mobile App Development Certifications in 2019?The GIAC Mobile Device Security Analyst (GMOB) program needs no introduction. If you get a certification from the course, employers would have confidence knowing that you are well-versed in the art of creating mobile applications.

The GMOB, although comprehensive, focuses more on ensuring a mobile phone/tablet’s security is topnotch and highly impenetrable.

Security has become the main concern in this day and age and no mobile operating system is safe (at least, if you do not implement the right security measures).

Finishing this course will provide you with the knowledge that you need to help you land that mobile app developer job.
